The Emirates Identity Authority held a co-ordination meeting with the Ministry of Education in its headquarters in Abu Dhabi yesterday (Sunday). The meeting was attended by H.E. Ali Maihad Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Ministry of Education, and H.E. Yousef Al Bulooshi, Chief Executive Officer of Registration Centers.
Al Suwaidi thankfully expressed his appreciation of the key role played by the Emirates Identity Authority in issuing ID cards for all the population and building an accurate population register.
Meanwhile, Al Bulooshi stressed the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on building and promoting an excellent and efficient strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education in view of its close connection with a number of general fields in the Population Register database.
The meeting discussed the population register law, ID card’s significance and benefits and the importance of the Emirates Identity Authority’s data for the decision-makers at the Ministry of Education. It also discussed the mechanisms of connection between the Ministry of Education and the Emirates Identity Authority and how to boost opportunities of co-operation between the two sides.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al Attas, Finance Director at the Ministry of Education, and from the Emirates Identity Authority by Mr. Shukri Al-Braiki, Innovation and Development Director, Mr. Ahmed Bin Amer, Registration Center Director, Mr. Yousef Al Kuwaiti, Applications Director, and Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Maamari, Public Relations and Marketing Director.
