The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security received on March 23, a delegation from Dubai Customs who came to look at the Authority’s best practices in the areas of quality systems and their impact on improvement, development and institutional reputation.
The delegation was received by Major Youssef Abdullah Al Hammadi, Director of the Strategy and Future Department at the Authority, and the Dubai Customs delegation consisted of Samira Abdul Razzaq, Sarah Ibrahim and Kholoud Al Falasi. The visit included holding a joint meeting to review the best practices of quality systems in the Authority, at the Innovation Center of the Strategy and Future Department at the Authority’s headquarters in Khalifa City, in the presence of several heads of departments and branch managers in the Authority.
During the visit, Major Youssef Al Hammadi stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the Authority and Dubai Customs, pointing out that this partnership contributes to the exchange of expertise, knowledge, best practices and experiences in the field of strategic planning, standards of excellence, quality systems, completion of benchmarking studies, and then the development of the work environment for both parties, which leads to raising the level of customer satisfaction and happiness, and therefore raising the level of competitiveness of the UAE in international forums.
