Out of seven government centers that got the rating
Four of the ICA’s customer happiness centers, Al Barsha, Al Rashidiya, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain, have been awarded a 5-star rating in the third cycle of the Global Star System of Service Rating 2018, out of 7 government centers that have received such rating.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received the results of the cycle, which included 167 customer happiness centers in 20 federal entities. He stressed that the provision of the best government services in the world is the standard and the primary objective of every government entity. He added: “We want government entities to provide the best services in the world … This is what we seek, and we do not accept any hesitation, delay or excuses that prevent it from being achieved.”
The third cycle of the Global Star System witnessed a rise in the percentage of four-star centers from 35% to 74%, and the percentage of three-star centers decreased from 66% to 23% compared to the previous cycle in 2015. The percentage of centers with a 5-star rating, of the total number of centers that have been rated, is about 4.2%.
UAE is the first state in the world to adopt the Global Star Rating System in rating the customer happiness centers to redefine an innovative concept and an integrated framework to deliver government services and raise its efficiency to the best international standards.
