The Advisory Board of Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship discusses performance improvement during its first meeting of the year 2022

The Advisory Board of Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security held its first meeting of the year 2022 to discuss enhancing joint cooperation, building the Academy’s capabilities and developing its operations as required to keep pace with developments and challenges in line with ICA’s strategic and forward-looking plans and the state’s orientations towards the UAE Centennial 2071.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Brigadier General Khamis Mohamed Al Kaabi, Acting Director General of Support Services, Chairman of the Advisory Board, and was attended by members of the Board: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bounaima, President of Abu Dhabi College of Management, Colonel Muhammad Saeed Al Ameri, Director of Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Amin Al-Bushra, Advisor at the Academy. The Chairman of the Board offered his sincere condolences to the members of the Council and the Academy’s staff and faculty on the passing of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, may God rest his soul, and expressed his congratulations on the election of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, “may God protect him”, as President of the UAE, wishing His Highness continued success in this important historical stage.
The meeting, which was held recently at the head office of Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship in Abu Dhabi, covered all items on the agenda, including discussing the performance of the Academy and ways to develop operations in accordance with the education policies and laws adopted in the country, in addition to a number of decisions and initiatives organizing the work of the Academy. The attendees also discussed the reports of academic achievements for the year 2021.
His Excellency urged the members of the Board to actively contribute to the development of the Academy’s performance during the next phase and to devise initiatives and strategies to boost its work in light of the expected expansion of its newly developed activities and to raise the level of its ability to meet the needs of ICA in particular and the State in general in terms of qualified and trained human resources in accordance with the latest standards and technologies.
