His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority, visited the platform of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, at GITEX 2021 in its 41st session held at the Dubai World Trade Center, where he was briefed on a group of innovative projects that were presented at the exhibition, led by the project The face print, which is the upgraded version of the digital authentication service for government and private institutions, in order to prove the personal identity of individuals through the use of the facial recognition feature, which allows easy identification of individuals in less than three seconds without the need to use an identity card reader. This service is available to all holders of Emirates ID cards aged 15 years and over and through the passport and the unified number.
His Excellency was also briefed on the projects of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, which include the Golden Residence, the unified application, my platform, the Dubai Paperless Residence and the services of citizenship and passports, the “You are special” service, the website and Dubai residence services at Expo 2020. On his side Al khaili, praised the participating employees and urged them to continue their work and move forward in achieving impressive achievements and results that enhance the institutional excellence system.
Through its participation in the exhibition, the ICA Authority is keen to keep pace with the aspirations of the rational leadership towards digital transformation, and to use the latest technologies and best digital systems that support government services.
