The Ras Al KhaimahRegistration Center has received a student delegation from Al Qasimia School for Boys as part of a visit organized by the school management yesterday with the aim of getting familiar with the center’s nature of work and the mechanisms and procedures of registration in the population register and ID card.
Fatima Ahmed Al Bulooshi, a supervisor at Ras Al Khaimah Registration Center, gave an explanation to the students about the Emirates Identity Authority and why it was established in addition to the registration steps for getting an ID card and how to keep it in good condition. She also accompanied the 25 students in a tour of the different facilities of the center during which she explained the fingerprinting mechanism before allowing the students to ask questions and seek answers.
The student delegation’s visit to the center came as part of a continuous process of co-ordination between the Emirates Identity Authority and the management of a number of schools to familiarize students with what an ID card is, why it is important and what its mission and objectives are.
