ICP Organizes the First Ceremony Honoring Outstanding Customs Inspectors and Passport Officers

The General Administration of Ports at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security organized, on Monday, 19 January 2026, its first recognition ceremony honoring outstanding customs inspection officers and passport officers, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts and their pivotal national role in safeguarding national security, protecting society, and enhancing the efficiency of operations across the UAE’s ports.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, and H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Acting Director General of Ports, along with a number of senior officials and officers.
The event recognized the dedication, vigilance, and professionalism demonstrated by customs inspectors and passport officers, as well as their qualitative achievements that have contributed to strengthening port security and improving operational efficiency, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The General Administration of Ports emphasized that organizing this first recognition ceremony reflects its commitment to valuing national competencies, fostering institutional excellence, and embedding a culture of appreciation, affirming that human capital is the cornerstone of success and sustainable achievement, in line with the aspirations of the UAE’s wise leadership to enhance community security and protect the nation.
