The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP), represented by the Institutional Support Sector, organized an awareness initiative on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, in recognition of World Diabetes Day. The event took place at Khalifa Hall in the Authority’s headquarters on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, in collaboration with Mediclinic Hospital.
The initiative aimed to enhance health awareness among ICP employees, promote a culture of prevention against chronic diseases, and provide a supportive and health-conscious work environment, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to delivering impactful programs that improve overall workplace well-being.
The program included free medical screenings such as blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, and body mass index (BMI) assessment, in addition to educational consultations offered by specialists on diabetes prevention and the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle habits based on balanced nutrition and regular physical activity.
The event witnessed strong engagement from employees, who expressed their appreciation for such health initiatives and their role in raising awareness and encouraging the adoption of sustainable, healthy practices.
