The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security received a high-level official delegation from the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, representing the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residency affairs at the Ministry of Interior, on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, in Abu Dhabi. The visit aimed to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation to facilitate air passenger movement between the two countries through the implementation of the “Single Point” air passenger project.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, in the presence of Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Acting Director General of Ports, and Dr. Hamad Saif Al Mughanni, Acting Executive Director of the Air Ports Affairs Sector. The Bahraini delegation was headed by Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Doseri, Assistant Undersecretary of Ports, Investigation & Pursuance, accompanied by a number of senior Bahraini officers and officials.
Both sides discussed mechanisms for implementing the Single Point air passenger project between the air ports of the United Arab Emirates and those of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
