The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) celebrated the UAE Flag Day on Monday, 3 November 2025, by raising the national flag across all its headquarters and customer happiness centers throughout the country. The celebration came in conjunction with the nationwide festivities marking this significant national occasion.
On this occasion, His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, affirmed that Flag Day is a timeless national event that unites the leadership and people of the UAE in a scene reflecting the highest meanings of unity, cohesion, and loyalty to the nation and its wise leadership. He added that raising the flag is an expression of pride in the UAE’s national achievements and a renewal of commitment to continue the path of development and excellence established by the founding fathers.
His Excellency added that Flag Day represents an opportunity to reinforce national values within the workplace, strengthen the spirit of belonging and responsibility, and advance the leadership’s vision toward sustainability, innovation, and institutional excellence, further solidifying the UAE’s position among the world’s leading nations.
His Excellency raised the flag at the Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the Directors General, Executive Directors, senior officials, and employees, in a patriotic atmosphere that embodied loyalty and devotion to the nation and its leadership.
The Authority also held Flag Day ceremonies across all its headquarters and affiliated centers nationwide. The events were attended by the Executive Directors of the General Directorates in each emirate, where the leadership of these directorates and centers raised the national flag high at their main offices. Flags and badges were also distributed to employees and participants as a gesture to promote national pride and belonging.
