The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, represented by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs, held a meeting with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation “MOHRE” on Thursday, 8 January 2026, to discuss ways to enhance joint projects between the two entities. This comes as part of their ongoing efforts to improve service quality, accelerate procedures, and ensure the highest levels of efficiency and reliability in data exchange between government entities.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Major General Saeed Salem Balhass Al Shamsi, Acting Director General of Identity and Foreigners Affairs; H.E. Khalil Ibrahim Khoury, Undersecretary for Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations ; and H.E. Rashid Hassan Al Saadi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Labour Market Services Sector, along with a number of directors and officials from both sides.
During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional integration and developing joint working mechanisms to support federal government objectives and enhance the customer experience, in line with the UAE’s vision for a more efficient and innovative government.
