Government Communication Department at the General Directorate of Identity organized a book fair in cooperation with Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation in interaction with the Month of Reading to be held this year titled “UAE Reads, UAE Rises”.
The Fair, which lasts for five days, included the presentation of dozens of titles of various books in fields of human resources, family and child, stories and novels, and books of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
This initiative came in the framework of ICA’s commitment to its social responsibilities and keenness to interact with the national initiatives, especially the ones relating to the cases supporting community development, encouragement of its employees to read, and assertion of the importance and role of reading in the individual’s life and community development.
On the margin of the Fair, several events were held to encourage the employees and customers of ICA to read, which included distribution of summaries of selected books to employees, customers of ICA and visitors of the Fair to motivate them to read books and promote their keenness of acquiring knowledge.
The Fair, which was held in ICA’s Customer Happiness Center in Khalifa City for two days and to is completed at ICA Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, witnessed a huge attendance from the employees and customers of ICA.
