On this morning, ICA celebrated the 46th National Day of UAE. On this occasion, it organized the national and heritage events at its main headquarter and customer centers throughout UAE; including models of UAE’s castles and forts, in addition to making poetic verses, Arabic Majlis, providing popular foods and exchanging congratulations between ICA Department, employees and customers who visited ICA’s centers during the day.
A group of male and female students of Al-Salam Public School Peace participated in ICA’s celebration on this occasion where they presented a variety of songs, folk songs and dances, while the military band presented its performances on the national songs that glorify the UAE and its achievements affirming the wrapping of its people behind its leadership. In the meanwhile, ICA’s Department buildings and centers are decorated with the UAE flag and pictures of H.H. UAE President and H.H members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of Emirates; in addition to National Day logo, various decorations and night lights made of the colors of UAE flag.
H.E. Saeed Abdullah Mutlaq Al Ghafli, ICA’s Director General asserted: “The second day of December is a beautiful day in the lives of UAE people because it embodies in their minds and consciences the station from which they embarked on the journey of happiness and the history that embodied their dreams of unity, in addition to establishing the glorious and beloved homeland.”
He also said: “This day witnessed one of the most important and prominent events in the modern Arab history as the will of UAE’s leaders met with one man to announce the establishment of a united country that each strengthens the other, in addition to gathering hearts and minds in an experience that has become an example of cohesion, patriotism, devotion to the homeland and belonging to it land, providing a good and decent life for its people and for all those who live on its good land.”
Dr. Al-Ghafli added: “The unitary experience of UAE has made a strong glory, established a homeland that has been raised by the determination of its founders and their efforts, its leadership, its loyalty and the loyalty of its people who are wrapping to it to become the best homeland. This recent experience formed the most successful experience at the level of Arab world; not only in terms of political aspects, but also in terms of social and economic aspects as it enabled UAE to become within a few years as a modern country that provides its people and all those who live on its land with the best standards of living and what God has bestowed on them for the benefit of its people and humanity as a whole.”
He pointed out: “The National Day’s celebrations made every year and commemoration of what has been achieved under the flag of Union are a source of pride for the UAE people, in addition to motivating them to continue to give to maintain and maximize achievements, starting with a firmer will towards the future to permanently put their homeland in the first ranks and raising its flag high in forums of creativity and achievement.”
Dr. Ghafli also said: “On the 46th National Day, we recall Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and other UAE founders, may God bless them who raised their ambitions and visions towards the heights, gathered UAE people and fulfilled their ambitions represented in a homeland for which its people are proud, protecting it with their souls, asking God all the time to reward Sheikh Zayed and other UAE founders and chanting about his successor with unique loyalty, well-firmed belonging and willingness to sacrifice with their souls to keep him free, safe and strong.”
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Ghafli; in the name of ICA’s staff, extended the highest congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, may God preserved him, his brother H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, their brother H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, other UAE Rulers and people, asking Almighty God to provide them with health, wellness and long life and provide also UAE with progress and prosperity.
The main ceremony was attended in ICA’s Headquarter by H.E. Dr. Saeed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, ICA’s Director General, Brig. Gen. H.E. Mansour Ahmed bin Hamouda Al Dhaheri, General Coordinator of Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, a number of senior officers in the Naturalization and Residency Departments, ICA’s Chief Executive Officers and General Directors.
