ICA briefed the best practices it applies in the fields of future-shaping, smart services, and innovation, to a delegation from the Federal Authority for the Government Human Resources (FAHR).
This was a part of the visit made by a delegation from FAHR to ICA’s headquarters in Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi.
The delegation was informed of ICA’s viewpoints on future shaping and its plan to make the best use of this approach in the strategic planning of projects and initiatives on the short and long term to enable ICA to achieve its vision, mission, and objectives based on the best standards, thus contributing to achieving UAE Centennial 2071 objectives.
The delegation watched a presentation on the electronic and smart services system provided by ICA to achieve optimal levels of happiness and satisfaction for its customers. To do so, ICA depends on the latest technological developments in the fields of identity proofing, issuance of passports, personal documentation, entry visas, and optimizing artificial intelligence enablers in a way that facilitates access to these services.
The delegation was introduced to ICA’s strategy for creativity and innovation, its most prominent initiatives and projects in this area and the mechanisms it adopts to support the innovation environment. The delegation was also briefed on ICA’s employees’ potentials and abilities, which can be optimized and utilized in areas in a way that would achieve the best possible outcomes.
In addition, an explanation of the Innovative Ideas Bank System, launched by ICA to its employees and customers on its website, was given to the delegation. This system allows employees and customers to submit their suggestions on ICA’s services and initiatives. Thus, they can efficiently and accurately address, study, and discuss these ideas based on a documented approach, and then they can keep on implementing feasible ideas under the supervision of professional and trained cadres.
The delegation took a tour in the Innovation Center and viewed its departments and rooms, along with its equipment, which creates a favorable environment for ICA’s employees in particular, and the government employees in general, so they can think out of the box and propose ideas contributing to performance development, with a view to reaching the highest levels.
