The Higher Management Committee at the Emirates Identity Authority has approved forming a dedicated working team responsible for tracking the recovery of delay fees to free zone employees and establishing the necessary procedures for facilitating the recovery of fees to their owners as per a mechanism that guarantees the interests of all customers in line with the Emirates Identity Authority’s rules and internal regulations.
This was announced during the regular meeting of the Higher Management Committee which was held at the Emirates Identity Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was presided over by H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, and was attended by the executive directors, a number of departmental directors, members of the Strategic Backup Office and a number of managers.
The committee also approved forming a working team for the decentralized printing project. The team will be responsible for tracking all the phases of the project and examining what was achieved in the first phase, which saw the installation of the ID card decentralized printing devices in 4 registration centers; namely, Musaffah Center and Al Wahda Center in Abu Dhabi, Al Barsha Center in Dubai, and Sharjah Center.
The working team will meet the requirements of the project and examine the various phases of implementation as per the Emirates Identity Authority’s time plan. The working team will also provide all forms of support to ensure the official launch of the project in the registration centers across the UAE.
The Higher Management Committee recommended that a smart working team be formed which will include as members a number of distinguished directors and employees from the different departments and sections. The team will be responsible for tracking performance, dealing with the different problems faced by the Emirates Identity Authority and seeking the appropriate solutions for them as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Higher Management Committee underscored the necessity for all the typing centers across the UAE to be committed to putting a notice illustrating the details of all registration and renewal fees in a prominent place that allows customers and applicants to read it and get familiar with it.
The Higher Management Committee also discussed a number of agenda items for which the appropriate decisions and recommendations were made.
