Brigadier Salem Belhas Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Abu Dhabi (GDRFA), emphasized that making people happy and putting a smile on their faces have become one of the most important government work rules in UAE. These are also a key and essential goal identified by the wise leadership as a top priority, with a view to achieving UAE vision 2021, namely to be one of the best countries in the world.
Al Shamsi called upon all GDRFA’s employees to adopt simple procedures to make things easier for customers and provide services in a manner exceeding their expectations. He further noted the importance of doubling cooperation with ICA’s strategic partners and all relevant entities to promote work in the best possible way.
He made these statements during his visit to GDRFA’s Customer Happiness Centers in Al Wagan and Al Quaa in Al Ain city. He was accompanied by a number of officers from GDRFA.
Al Shamsi commended the performance and productivity of ICA’s employees working in these centers. He urged them to exert more effort and speed up work completed in accordance with the applicable systems in order to achieve happiness for customers, being a supreme end for service provision. In addition, he listened to the comments and suggestions of the centers’ employees, and customers’ feedback on the level of the services provided.
Brigadier Al Shamsi honored some of the distinguished employees in the two centers, expressing his happiness with the competitive spirit they show at work. He invited all of them not to hesitate to communicate any comment or suggestion that would contribute to enhancing work or overcoming any challenge that may hinder the workflow. He further highlighted that raising awareness in this aspect is deemed a national duty, which helps maintain the advanced and distinguished levels.
A number of officers, officials, and employees from all departments attended the honoring ceremony.
