The Fujairah Registration Center’s employees have participated in a blood donation campaign for thalassemia patients as part of the campaign launched by the Emirates Identity Authority in response to the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah save him.
The blood donation campaign, which was launched the day before yesterday in co-ordination with Fujairah Medical District – Fujairah Hospital, saw the participation of Fujairah Registration Center’s management and employees and was joined by a number of customers.
The Emirates Identity Authority launched a blood donation campaign last week in its head office in Abu Dhabi and the Musaffah Registration Center, while the employees of the Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers across the UAE donated blood gradually in their worksites in co-ordination with the concerned entities in each emirate.
The step came as part of the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family on participating in such humanitarian, social and national initiatives, which reflect the nobility, compassion and cohesion of the UAE society, both as leadership and people, and contribute to supporting blood transfusion programs in the UAE and supplying blood to the UAE hospitals, particularly the children suffering from thalassemia, who constantly need blood transfusion.
