Preparation for the Next 50 years Forum organized by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship “ICA” at Umm Al Quwain with participation of the representatives of the local & federal departments in UMQ emirate, discussed the developmental ideas for the future of governmental services in line with UAE Centennial vision 2071 in respect of a diverse spectrum of industries.
The forum has been inaugurated, while applying the precautionary measures set by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority to confront COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, by presenting an introductory brief by Major Mohamed Obaid Al Saman, Customers Happiness Centre Section head of ICA-UMQ. The presentation outlined the harvested findings of the challenges and targets set by the founding leaders focusing on the quality of life & well-being of the valued customers over the first past 50 years since the UAE federation started through qualitative achievements on the local, regional, and global scale thanks to the vision of UAE government wise leadership.
Form his part, His Excellency Naser Ahmed Al Abduli, ICA Customers Happiness Department Manager presented highlights about the future governmental services within the next 50 years in line with UAE Centennial 2071 aspiring to make the UAE the best country in the entire world in a spectrum of industries. Al Abduli further stated in his presentation that the governmental services over the next 50 years would be deeply influenced by the cutting-edge techniques by reliance on such sophisticated technology as a key component. Moreover, he presented the most important techniques and tolls anticipated to be used in future including virtual assistant technology, hologram, computer vision, 5G technique and other innovative tools which help facilitate services delivery within the upcoming years in a streamlined smooth manner serving all social categories.
This forum was organized in conjunction of holding a brainstorming session titled “Promising Future of Umm Al Quwain emirate” tackling the mechanisms of improving & promoting all governmental services in the emirate in respect of a wide range of areas including education, economy, tourism, health in addition to various governmental services. Forum participants proposed innovative and creative insights contributing to enhancing the targeted development plans in Umm Al Quwain over the next 50 years.
At the end of the forum, His Excellency Brigadier Khaled Yousef Bin Hadhiba, Executive Director of the General Directorate – Umm Al Quwain honored the forum participating entities.
The actual and virtual functions of “UAE Innovates Week 2021” organized by ICA-UMQ, have been diversified as they included launching three key initiatives aiming at promoting the culture of innovation and finding the best innovative practices to become consistent with UAE Vision 2021. Such functions also included a competition titled “Future Innovator” aiming at motivating the children and developing their talents in the area of the innovative projects in addition setting up a real stand in Umm Al Quwain Mall for introducing ICA specific services to the public.
