In implementation of the second theme of the new registration plan emanating from its strategy 2010-2013, the Emirates Identity Authority started receiving a number of medical examination applicants in Musaffah Center 2 in preparation for activation of the service of linking registration in ID card with preventive medicine procedures in Musaffah area.
The actual operation of Musaffah Center 2 will start after co-ordination with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has been completed, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Emirates Identity Authority, said inn a press release.
Musaffah Registration Center 2 is currently receiving the residents under the category of workers, who have completed medical examination procedures in the Musaffah Health Center for registration in ID card, he added.
Al Maamari explained that as soon as co-ordination with SEHA management is completed and after linkage with procedures has been activated, the registration receipt sealed by the ID seal, which proves completion of registration in ID card, will be part of the documents required for receiving the medical fitness certificate from the Musaffah Preventive Medicine Center.
As for the procedures required to be taken by the applicants for Musaffah examination and preventive health center to obtain ID cards, Al Maamari clarified that the first step is to visit an authorized typing office in Abu Dhabi which will prepare the ID card registration form and collect the due fees against a receipt.
He pointed out that after finishing with the typing offices, customers would visit the preventive medicine center in Musaffah for medical examination before heading directly to the Musaffah Registration Center 2.
The Musaffah Center 2 will receive only male applicants in one period, i.e. the morning period, which is associated with the official working hours of the Musaffah Preventive Medicine Center, he said.
