Based on the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him, that a team of UAE charitable organizations and authorities be formed to co-ordinate and regulate the urgent relief aid to the flood-stricken people in the Sind territory in Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has called for launching a fundraising campaign at the level of the Emirates Identity Authority’s departments and centers in favor of flood-stricken Pakistanis. Once collected, the funds raised will be delivered to the Red Crescent Society.

Al Khouri urged all the Emirates Identity Authority’s executive Directors, departmental directors and employees to provide as much financial support to the affected Pakistanis as possible, reflecting the genuineness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family and its keenness on implementing Sheikh Khalifa’s directives. The campaign also reflects the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees on supporting the UAE’s great humanitarian positions and the directives of the UAE prudent leadership, which is always in the lead of launching honorable humanitarian initiatives worldwide.

Stressing the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family on providing all possible aid for this campaign based on the Emirates Identity Authority’s belief in the concept of social responsibility and its commitment to the social and human issues, Al Khouri noted the role played by the Red Crescent Authority as an official entity representing the UAE for raising and delivering donations in addition to Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation and other leading charitable and humanitarian organizations and authorities across the UAE.
