The Emirates Identity Authority has won “The New Era Award for Technology, Quality and Innovation, which is granted by the Paris-based Other Ways Management and Consulting Association.
The Emirates Identity Authority was granted the award in appreciation of its efforts for keeping pace with the criteria of creativity, technological innovation and quality, its keenness on achieving corporate excellence at all levels and its endeavors to improve the standard of its services and keep abreast of the most outstanding updates of the contemporary administrative mode of thinking.
On behalf of H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, H.E. Eng. Nasser Mohamed Al Mazrouei, ICT Executive Director at the Emirates Identity Authority, received the shield of the award during the ceremony held by the award donor in the German capital Berlin on Monday, March 26, 2012.
The honoring ceremony, during which the awards were distributed on the winners of the five branches of the award, saw the participation of a number of representatives of diplomatic corps, executive directors and decision-makers from the different technological, scientific and administrative sectors, representing around 40 countries.
The award donor adopted the voting system for nominating the Emirates Identity Authority for the award based on the information and evidence that reflected the development achieved by the Emirates Identity Authority in the field of technological creativity, quality and excellence. The award donor also took into account the international quality certificates and the awards granted to the Emirates Identity Authority in the past years which reflected the development it achieved.
The award donor praised the strategic projects that were being carried out by the Emirates Identity Authority as well as its role in supporting the UAE process of development and achieving the government’s vision 2021.
