The Emirates Identity Authority presented a commemorative shield to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Fujairah Crown Prince, on the sidelines of his inauguration of the 2nd Cultural Caravan for 2012, which was held in Al Bidya, Fujairah under the banner “Our Society.. Our Responsibility”.
This was announced during H.H. Fujairah Crown Prince’s inspection tour of the Emirates Identity Authority’s stand set up as part of its participation in the 2-day “Caravan” activities on March 22 and 23. Omer Al Maamari, Supervisor of Sharjah and Northern Emirates Centers, delivered the shield to H.H. Fujairah Crown Prince during his visit, while Abdul Aziz Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at the Emirates Identity Authority, explained to him the Emirates Identity Authority’s strategy, vision and objectives and briefed him on the latest developments as regards the procedures of registration in the population register and ID card system.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the “Caravan” came as part of its ongoing efforts to extend the bridges of communication with the UAE people and familiarize the public with its mission, objectives and values. Its participation was also based on its ongoing keenness on supporting the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development’s efforts for maintaining the national identity, enhancing the values of national and social cohesion and co-operating with the other government entities. As many as 110 government and private entities participated in the “Caravan” through a comprehensive and diverse program that featured more than 100 activities.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development honored the Emirates Identity Authority as a partner of and a participant in the Cultural Caravan activities. The honoring shield was received by Ismael Fadlallah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates at the Emirates Identity Authority.
The Emirates Identity Authority was honored in appreciation of its keenness on participating in the Cultural Caravan activities and its efforts exerted to make a success and achieve the objectives of this activity.
