Emirates ID participates in 10th ID WORLD International Congress in Milan, Italy

The Emirates Identity Authority is participating in the 10th ID WORLD International Congress 2011, which kicked off in Milan, Italy, today (Wednesday) and will continue for three days.

The participation of the Emirates Identity Authority’s delegation in this international event, which is the most prominent in the ID world, comes in continuation of the kind initiatives made by the Emirates Identity Authority’s Higher Management and in confirmation of its keenness on honoring distinguished employees. As many as 16 employees from different registration centers across the UAE who showed excellent presence and outstanding performance in 2011 were selected to participate in the event.

Special importance is attached to the 10th ID WORLD International Congress 2011, which is held in Milan, Italy, to mark its 19th anniversary. Delegations from more than 20 countries from all over the world are participating in the congress and will discuss a number of scientific and technological issues related to the uses and applications of ID cards.

An elite group of specialists as well as experts working in the field of ID identification documents and decision makers from all over the world are also participating in this congress which specializes in digital technology and smart electronic identification documents. They will discuss the latest issues the digital ID technology.
