Emirates ID honors Al Jaber Group for paying registration fees For its 65,000 employees

The Emirates Identity Authority honored Al Jaber Group to show its appreciation for the group’s active contribution in supporting the ID project and its positive role in enabling Emirates ID to achieve its strategic national projects.

The Emirates ID thanked Al Jaber Group for taking the initiative to pay the ID card fees for all its over 65,000 employees throughout the state.

It lauded Al Jaber Group for their recent efforts to complete registration for all its employees before end of deadlines. Al Jaber Group’s initiative to pay all registration costs of its employees reflects its keenness on achieving the vision of the UAE leadership by developing the population register and ID card system.

The Emirates ID considered that the group’s initiative in this context reflects a sense of national affiliation to the management of one of the largest private sector institutions in the state. It also reflects the awareness of its owners of the leadership’s vision by establishing Emirates ID and their recognition of the important mission of Emirates ID to contribute to national and individual security, maintain an accurate and comprehensive population register and provide innovative government eServices.

This came in the speech given by H.E. Eng. Nasser Al Mazroui, ICT Executive Director, on behalf of H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, during his visit with a group from Emirates ID to Al Jaber Group headquarters in Abu Dhabi. He handed a thank you and appreciation shield to H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Jaber, Board Member, who was there to receive the group on behalf of the group’s chairman and in attendance of Mr. Badr El Darei, PR Director.

H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Jaber stressed the group’s keenness to support Emirates ID in achieving its mission, vision and objectives. He expressed Al Jaber Group’s thanks to Emirates ID that did not hesitate in providing all sorts of logistical support to companies of the group. This contributed effectively to completing the registration of the majority of Al Gaber Group’s employees in the ID card easily and conveniently in their workplace or residence.

It is noteworthy that Al Jaber Group is considered the largest private sector corporation in the UAE regarding the number of employees, which reaches over 65,000 employees.
