Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) sponsors 2nd educational forum for people with special needs organized by Khorfakkan Club for the Handicapped during the period from 1-5 May 2012 under the supervision of Sharjah Sports Council and entitled “Together for Better Catering and Qualification of the Handicapped” under the patronage of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The club board of directors thanked EIDA for its sponsorship during a meeting held yesterday. The meeting was headed by Abdul Razaq Ahmed Rasheed, acting manager of Sharjah registration center and club president, and attended by Mohamed Abdul Rahman El Qawadi, Vice President for sports affairs and Mohamed Mohamed El Mahbali, Vice President for financial and administrative affairs and all directors.
Rasheed stated that this sponsorship springs from EIDA’s keenness to participate in various activities and social and educational events. He indicated that the forum will include specific educational discussions and thirty researchers from the UAE, the Arab world and Europe will participate in it to develop abilities of people with special needs and enhance their interaction with society. He expressed his hope for the success of the forum in achieving its desired goals.
