H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Acting Director General of Ports at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, conducted an inspection visit to the border ports in the Emirate of Fujairah, accompanied by a number of executive directors and officials. The visit aimed to review workflow and assess the readiness of operations and procedures implemented at the emirate’s land, air, and sea ports.
During the visit, H.E. reviewed the customs inspection mechanisms in place, the level of compliance with approved regulations and legislation, and the efforts exerted by field teams to strengthen the port security system, protect the community, and facilitate the movement of travelers and goods.
At the conclusion of the visit, H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti honored personnel involved in significant customs seizures, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and high level of vigilance in carrying out their duties. A number of customs inspection supervisors were also honored in appreciation of their role in oversight, follow-up, and enhancing field performance efficiency.
On this occasion, H.E. affirmed that this recognition reflects the Authority’s commitment to motivating national cadres, fostering a culture of excellence, and strengthening a sense of responsibility and belonging, commending the professional standards demonstrated by customs inspection teams at Fujairah’s ports.
