As part of the co-operation, co-ordination and extension of communication bridges among government and semi-government organizations and authorities, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Medical District and Chairman of Patients Friends Committee, yesterday held a consultative meeting with representatives of Emirates Identity Authority, Preventive Medicine and the company entrusted with supervising and carrying out the new building project of the Emirates Identity Authority near the Preventive Medicine in Al Ghubaiba Area in Sharjah.
It was agreed to distribute buildings and make a working plan to start carrying out the ID center project and the integrated services center (Tasheel), where everything needed by workers and employees in general and the public and citizens in particular will be provided under one roof in the Preventive Medicine Center in Al Ghubaiba, so that all transactions related to medical examination, passports, typing and even ID card would be completed.
Stressing the necessity for the project to be well arranged, Sheikh Mohammed urged all the people concerned to speed up completing the project, which is extremely significant and vital in serving the public and easing pressure at the building of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, considering that the site of the project is unique in the UAE for responding to people’s inquiries and meeting their needs under one roof.
