The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) celebrated the graduation of the fourth cohort of participants in the specialized martial arts training program in “Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai”. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, at the Emirates Academy of Identity and Citizenship in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Khalifa Hamad Al Shamsi, Acting Executive Director of the Land Ports Affairs Sector, honored the graduates in the presence of a number of officials and employees of the Authority. His Excellency presented the graduates with certificates of completion and praised their commitment and discipline throughout the training period.
The program forms part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance the physical and psychological readiness of its employees and to empower them to handle security challenges with efficiency and confidence, through equipping participants with modern self-defense and martial arts skills that strengthen self-confidence and promote self-discipline. The program also aims to embed a culture of sports as a lifestyle within the workplace, positively reflecting on employees’ performance and their level of field preparedness.
The Authority emphasized that such specialized training programs are an integral part of its strategic plan to develop human capital according to the highest standards and to reinforce the concept of comprehensive security that combines professional competence, physical fitness, and mental preparedness.
