Emirates ID plans to train 882 employees in 2012: Kawader

The Emirates Identity Authority has launched a comprehensive development plan for its human resources aimed at training 882 employees from the different departments in 2012, Amani Ahmed Al Hosani, Training and Development Administrator at the Emirates Identity Authority, told Kawader Magazine.

The training plans set for this year are aimed at meeting the increasing needs, aspirations and ambitions of the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees for reaching advanced levels of professionalism and securing the top positions at the level of government services in the UAE, Al Hosani said.

Al Hosani pointed out that this step comes as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s efforts to advance the Emirates Identity Authority’s national cadres and upgrade their abilities to fill leading positions. The step is also aimed at training the young national leaders and preparing the second line of the Emirates Identity Authority’s male and female employees at all job levels to support the Emirates Identity Authority in achieving its leading strategic objectives in future, she added.

Al Hosani clarified that the Emirates Identity Authority’s training programs expected to be implemented this year for leaders and supervisory staff deal with 10 topics; namely, effective leadership; change leadership; creative thinking for solving problems and taking decisions; strategic performance and performance indicators; leadership skills and discovery of leaderships; presentation and effective communication skills; finance; authorization and empowerment; time and self management, project management; and working teams.
