Dr. Ghafli: Zayed, the Benevolent Lives in Minds and Conscience of All Who Lived in UAE

H.E. Dr. Saeed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, EIDA’s Director General, stressed that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul in eternal peace, lives in the conscience and mind of every UAE citizen, all those who lived on its land of goodness and all people who extended his benevolent hands to them, satisfied their passion, needs, raised their distress or privation of poverty, hunger or disease, and that his memory will remain immortal throughout the ages and times embodied by his achievements in every spot and area along the land of this country of giving.

Dr. Al-Ghafli said that Sheikh Zayed, may Allah have mercy upon him, was not only a traditional leader or head of state, but was also a symbol and inspiring leader who is one of his kind. He conquered the impossible and achieved what the world considered miracles, and ideally led the state and its people through the best practices of politics and leadership. He built home of pride and glory, led it to safety, provided its people with all means of welfare and utilized all his country’s resources for the sake of human happiness and well-being, until UAE became the focus of attention and favorable place for the seekers of good-living and enjoying freedom, dignity, security and tranquility.

Dr. Al Ghafli added that the directives of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, may Allah protect him, to allocate the year 2018 to commemorate the centenary of Sheikh Zayed, may Allah have mercy upon him, came not only as a celebration, but also as a gesture of generosity to the memory of Generous man, piece of insight from the best successor to the best predecessor. Khalifa, the benevolent, may Allah protect him was the big support of Sheikh Zayed in the journey of establishment and construction, was the faithful trustee in the course of development and giving, and the gesture was entitlement to a person, a great late man, which is due by the citizens of UAE and each person who enjoyed the abundance of UAE by remembering every day what Sheikh Zayed’s benovolent hands gave to them and his Sacrifices in order to provide them with welfare, and his achievements that have placed their homeland in the forefront of countries in all areas and raised its banner in all events.

He stressed that UAE citizens do not and will never forget the icon of love and humanity that has shaped the meaning of patriotism and sincerity, who taught them how to be loyal and that the name of Zayed will remain immortal in their hearts and minds as a symbol of beautiful past, prosperous present and bright future that generations after generation will repeat it as a tune of pride and degnity and Poem of manhood and knighthood, a name they will utter it as poem in love of the land and man, and inspired it as a meaning of unity, union and building homelands.

Dr. Ghafli expressed the highest sense of honor and pride of UAE as homeland, and its wise leadership that goes on Zayed bath towards the peaks and summits to complete what he started and achieve the comprehensive renaissance that sought by UAE citizens to remain this homeland lofty, honored, stubborn and magnificent, and its citizens to supplicate Allah, the merciful, to raise the founding father to the highest ranks, and to put all his achievements rendered to the past, present and future generations in the his scale of good deeds.
